Guide to the flavours of the South Coast

The rich farmland surrounding Trelleborg is known as the Skåne Plains. There are thousands of years of traditions of agriculture, farming and cooking here. It’s not so strange, the rich soil is first class and most things grow well here. We have put together maps of the best places to eat and also places where you can pick your own fruit or flowers.

Pick your own

There is nothing better than feeling the warm sun on your face and the soft earth beneath your feet while out in a field of flowers or berries. Pick as much fruit as you can carry home to make cordial, jam or to freeze for the winter or let your creativity flow and carefully choose flowers for your Friday bouquet. Here is a collection of pick-your-own tips for those of you who want to fully experience the garden to table process here in Skåne.
